What is Baby Swim and why start so young?
Yes, babies can learn to swim! We are passionate about the importance of learning to swim, no matter which age you start. When babies can start at four months old, we can maximize their natural affinity to water. Warm water is reminiscent of the womb for baby and helps him/her relax and bond with mom, dad, grandma, etc. The pool is a wonderful environment for them to explore, move, and enjoy in the weightlessness of water and with the most loving teacher in the world: you!
Our creative and knowledgeable teachers will lead you, and parents just like you, in activities, songs, and games that will make your baby safer and smarter in the water. This fun class is a time for you to be your child’s first teacher, bond, and help them learn to love the water. Although no amount of swim lessons can “waterproof” anyone, together we will give your baby the tools for breath control, floating, and swimming all before he/she turns two.
All babies ages 4-24 months and their caregivers are welcome in Baby Swim classes. Schedule a FREE TRIAL today to see for yourself! Then, come in to pick up your Orientation Packet, or download (see PDF link below) and pick up the rest when you arrive at your first lesson.
Our Double Diaper Policy
To ensure quality swimming conditions, we require that all children not fully potty-trained must comply with our double-diaper policy. One must be a cloth, reusable, plastic-lined Dolphin Swim Club approved diaper (sold at all locations).
